The first stage of our company's existence was a passionate entrepreneurial belief by my grandfather and a belief that premium winemaking could thrive in Canada and that is why his first effort was the planting of significant vineyards in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia.
The Fort Wine Co. is a premium fruit winery. We are located just minutes from historic Fort Langley, British Columbia in the picturesque Glen Valley, which is about a 45 minute drive in the country from Vancouver. Our winery has been recognized with numerous awards at major wine competitions for the fine quality, innovation and flavour of our pure fruit products. In fact, our wines have been competing with grape wines in some large competitions, and coming out on top.
Township 7 Vineyards and Winery’s offerings include Un-Oaked Chardonnay, a barrel aged Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, a method traditionelle[?] sparkling wine made from 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir, and a late harvest dessert wine. Township 7 focuses on the production of small lots of high quality wines made from carefully chosen grapes from the Okanagan Valley and from our vineyards in Langley and Penticton. Our family owned and operated winery is committed to creating exceptional wines that are complex, flavourful and well balanced.
